Italian architect César Janz built Palacete Virtvs in the nineteenth century as a family home. Its revivalist design reflects the Lisbon bourgeois style of the period, with salons lined in damask silk, decorative stucco and frescoed ceilings.

The property also has a terrace overlooking Lisbon and landscaped grounds with azulejo panels and a decorative pool. Which doors Betty plans to open on the night remains her business.
